Eternal Love Story Part 1

Madam all the assets and accounts are transferred in your name if any questions please contact Mr. Alex your personal banker.  Patricia smiled and said, “Thanks Leonard uncle you really helped quite a lot”. Patricia saw a young handsome man approaching towards her “Hello, my name is Alex nice to finally meet you Ms. Patricia.  Please accept my deepest condolences; we are here for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out whenever you need us, especially during this difficult time. You are a very brave young girl, you have been through a lot may you find the comforting solace you are looking for” Patricia felt a very warmth comfort in his words. She felt like she had found the family she had lost. When she saw Matilda in the office she told her about a little encounter with Alex and how comforting it was. Matilda was happy that after long time Patricia had come out of the moaning on the loss of her family. Patricia had a very wealthy family but as her parents grew old they had lost many things. Patricia dad was a compulsive gambler he lost his two estates and a mansion. The only thing was left was an old rundown mill and their current row house. Patricia had spent half of her teens and adulthood taking care of a paralysed father. She lost her mother in the accident and her father was paralysed. After few months there was a short circuit in the row house when Patricia was not at home. She lost the only family she had on that day in that fire. She was never close to her dad because he never paid any attention to her nor he cared for her. On his last days also he was in coma so there was no time where Patricia could connect with her father.  Patricia never dated any one she had completed her schooling in Convent School and before she could do her further educations she lost her mother and had to take care of her ailing father.  She went to the mill every day to see to it that all was fine.  Mill was taken care of by Leonard her mother’s only brother.
Late in the evening the door bell rang and Patricia opened the door she was surprised to see Alex standing on the doorway. She was all alone she let him inside gave him some tea and completed all the bank related paperwork. When Alex was about to leave he looked into her eyes and said “When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you”. Wiping the tear from her eyes Alex said “We all lose somebody we dearly care for but if we look hard enough we can find comfort in someone who loves us” and he kissed her gently. She fell alive after a very long time. Her whole body felt a fire running through her veins. She kissed him harder and harder caressing him. He held her tightly very close to his heart. Their hands were softly exploring each other’s body. She wanted him so bad. She would never let him go away. She blew sweet kisses on his face, eyes and chest. They were in bed making eternal love with each other. They were in each other’s arms and Patricia face was as bright as the golden morning sun. She felt a deep comfort in Alex’s arms. She told him all about her life and he listened patiently to all of it. They drank  lots of wine and made sweet love all night long. Days passed Alex warmth had filled all the emptiness in Patricia’s life.  That night they were suppose to go out for a dinner it was Patricia’s birthday. She had worn a plum red off shoulder dress. She looked very pretty and Alex drooped at her place in crisp white shirt and blue jeans. Patricia loved Alex hair wet and she loved running her fingers through it. They were eating and drinking wine when Alex popped the question, “Patricia James Stark, will you be mine for now and forever till death does us apart”.  She kissed him and tears ran down her cheek she could not believe that so many good things could happen to her. She was his and they made passionate love.
One week was left for the wedding all was set. Alex had lots of outstation work so he had to leave the town and the wedding preparation was on her head.  Also there were some paperwork Alex had instructed Patricia to complete she signed them and told Leonard to deliver them to Alex. Patricia was very excited about the wedding she was going to wear her mother’s wedding gown.  She had decided to marry in the town church and a very small after party which only close family friends would attend. The day before the marriage Alex called “Honey, I hope I have given you many things to be happy about.” Patricia smiled and answered “Love I have got so much more than I could ever ask for. Tomorrow when we walk down the aisle I will make a promise to be with each other in sickness and in pain, in good times and bad times.” Alex said, “Patricia eternity is a very long time I am just grateful that our paths crossed and you will always be the best thing that happened to me good night dear. I will always love you very much”. When the conversation with Alex ended she felt a sudden feeling of goodbye in Alex’s voice but she did not want to ponder upon it. She consoled herself by saying she was missing him like crazy and there was nothing to worry about. Next day wearing her mother’s pearl lace gown she stood out of the church doors waiting to see Alex arrive. In the background the choir sang the sweet hymns. Time stood still there was no news from Alex. Hours passed and Patricia stood there waiting for him knowing he had already said his final good bye the day before. She fainted when she came to consciousness Matilda told her, “Alex was a con man hired by Leonard they took all your money and fled the town Patricia”. Tears came rolling down her eyes. Matilda softly caught Patricia’s hand and whispered in her ears, “You are pregnant dear.”
